Eircode - Smart Address Code
Ireland’s postcode system (Eircode) was launched in July 2015. Eircode enables people and businesses to find every address in Ireland.
Over 35% of addresses in Ireland share their address with at least one other property, making it difficult for those delivering goods and services to accurately identify the location of an address. Eircode has been designed specifically to overcome this problem. Unlike other countries where postcodes define a cluster or group of addresses, a unique Eircode is assigned to each residential and business address.
Having an Eircode, removes the hassle and mistakes out of finding addresses in Ireland.
Éirchód - Cód Cliste Seoltaí
I mí Iúil 2015 lainseáladh Eircode, córas postchóid nua na hÉireann. Cuireann Eircode ar a gcumas do dhaoine agus do ghnólachtaí teacht ar gach seoladh in Éirinn.
Roinneann os cionn 35% de sheoltaí na hÉireann a seoladh le seoladh amháin eile ar a laghad, rud a dhéanann é deacair do dhaoine a sheachadann earraí agus seirbhísí seoladh a aimsiú go beacht. Tá Eircode saincheaptha leis an bhfadhb sin a réiteach. Ní hionann agus tíortha eile, mar a sainíonn postchód clachán nó grúpa seoltaí, sannfar éirchód uathúil do gach seoladh cónaithe agus gnó.
